St. Patrick's Day IEGT Irish Black Magic Cocktail
Last year we presented the IEGT St Patrick’s Day cocktail and Margie improved it. You can find those recipes here. We failed to properly name those cocktails but we have corrected that oversight and dub them IEGT Tart Irish Honey and IEGT Tart Irish-Kiwi Honey, respectively.
This year we offer IEGT Irish Black Magic and while it may not be green in color, this St. Patrick’s Day cocktail is certainly green in spirit.
Both blackberries and elderflowers are indigenous to Ireland – and, of course, Irish Whiskey, aka Water of Life or uisce beatha in Irish Gaelic, is of Irish origin. While raspberries may have originated in Eastern Asia, they now grow naturally in Ireland and IEGT adds a subtle sweetness along with raspberry flavor and 300 mg of antioxidants!
- 1 packet IEGT Raspberry Green Tea
- 1 ½ oz Irish Whiskey
- ½ oz Elderflower Liqueur
- ¼ oz Crème de Mure (Blackberry liqueur)
- Place all ingredient in a rocks glass.
- Stir to combine.
- Top with ice and stir again.
- Drink responsibly; never drink and drive.
Please enjoy responsibly.
