This is a simple, yet delicious, chunky guac recipe. The addition of Lemon I.E. Green Tea adds a little sweetness but also a depth of flavor. Everyone will want to know what your secret ingredient is, and you can tell them, it’s a whole lot of antioxidants!
2 large ripe avocados, peeled, pitted, and diced
1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
1 packet of Lemon I.E. Green Tea
1 tsp. salt
⅛ tsp. chili powder or cayenne powder
1 medium tomato, seeded and chopped; reserve 2 Tbsp. for topping
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
2 Tbsp finely chopped onion
1 tsp. fresh cilantro, chopped
In a large bowl, add avocados, lime juice, salt, and chili powder. Mash with a fork. Gently stir in the tomato, garlic, and onion.
Sprinkle top with reserved tomato and cilantro. Enjoy with fresh nacho chips.
