We all know that smoothies can pack essential nutrients and get our days off to a great start. There are so many nutrients in the fruits and vegetables that we eat daily. Smoothies and bowls are delicious ways to get those nutrients, but did you know it takes an awful lot of nature's beauties to get the antioxidants we need daily. That's why I like to simply add one packet of I.E. Green Tea into my daily smoothie. I know I am getting 300 mg of antioxidants from organic green tea. With only 8ml of green tea concentrate in there, I hardly notice the green tea at all, but I do know I am super boosting that smoothie with Antioxidants. Whether I am heading to my local smoothie and bowls shop or making them at home, I can rev up those antioxidants with a packet of I.E. Green Tea!
Here is an easy recipe for you to make at home.
This I.E. Green Tea based smoothie has loads of nutrients and packs 300 mg of antioxidants!
The raspberries provide heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids as well as manganese for bone health; the pistachios add potassium and fiber; avocados are a great source for vitamins (C, E, K, and B6); and, of course, I.E. Green Tea is loaded with 300mg of antioxidants.
What a great way to start your day (or enjoy an afternoon).
